We're working on a community garden this year at our new building downtown. We'll plant it up with fruit and veggies and some cut flowers this spring.
Do you need a tomato for dinner? Some berries to snack on after school? A pumpkin for this fall or some flowers for a friend? We've got you.
It's free, and it's walk-in self-serve. Just take what you need or want. If you'd like to help out, pull some weeds or water a dry bed. But that's your choice.
The beds are mostly raised, so they are disability-friendly.
Whatever doesn't get taken will be donated.
We'll keep working to make it better year after year. Your input is welcome! Just hit the email on our home page.
Coming soon: --A meditation garden. A peaceful place to have lunch, seek calm for something challenging, meditate, pray, or just sit in nature. We'lll offer a chance to anonymously give us your prayer requests in the garden.
--A sensory garden created especially for neurodivergent folks who need a break from peopling. Areas to hear, see, smell, touch (and maybe even taste) the garden.
