Leadership Team

Our Leadership Team

Our leaders are made up of a senior pastor, worship leader, treasurer, and a board of elders. We believe anyone who is committed to Christ can serve as a leader, regardless of age, sex, or race.

Senior Pastor: Jill Richardson

Jill has a degree in English and Secondary Education from Washington University in St. Louis, a Master’s of Divinity from Bethel Seminary (University) in St. Paul, and a Doctorate in Church Leadership in a Changing Context at Gordon Conwell. Jill is the author of five books and speaks at a variety of events.

Jill’s passion in ministry is working with the next generation to find faith together. Part of that is creating a healthy church--one where abuse is called out, neighbor is loved, and everyone is welcome. Her call is to help people live in the grace and truth of Jesus Christ on a daily basis. She is also passionate about restoration, kindness, dark chocolate, the Cubs, Earl Grey, and JRR Tolkien. She's an enneagram 5, so she's researched those sermons to death. With ten years of community theater behind her, her superpower is a musical line for any occasion.

Head Gardener/Leadership Team: Brent

Brent has been involved in Real Hope Community Church since its beginning back in 2008. His medical expertise has been invaluable during the pandemic, and his patience and logic have been valuable on the leadership team. This enneagram 6 ensures we're all asking all the right questions before we move forward. Brent also likes to garden, travel, make cheese, and take many, many photos.

We Would Love to Have You Visit, in person or virtually!
