Messy Church is temporarily on hold. When we complete the rehab of our new building, we hope to resume this great activity. We miss all of our people!
We like to live by Miss Frizzle’s motto: Take chances, make mistakes, get MESSY. Each MessyChurch meetup, we delve into a theme and explore it through a variety of hands on activities. These include a science experiment, a craft, a sensory bin or activity, engineering or tech activities, and a community art project.
MessyChurch’s aim is to build communities and provide young families with confidence in how they communicate and understand one another. Given that purpose, we are not a drop-off activity, but expect parents or guardians to stay with their children and work through the activities with them. All children must be accompanied by aged 16+
Every MessyChurch includes dinner (because who wants to cook on a Friday night?).
MessyChurch is a project of Real Hope Community Church in Oswego, Illinois.
